Europe on the Brink: Mass Migration Threatens Continent’s Destruction

Europe is at a crossroads. The violence in England is simply a taste of what’s to come if the tide of migrants is not curbed. The continent is on the brink, a powder keg about to blow.

When German Chancellor Angela Merkal infamously quipped in 2015 that “wir schaffen das,” the world was a very different place. The expression translated to English loosely means “we got this” and was in reference to what at the time seemed like an unmanageable flood of illegal migrants from the Middle East and North Africa into Europe. With the hindsight of nearly a decade, it’s become clear the flood had only just begun.

On the waves of that flood, Britain is currently in the throes of violent riots that threaten quickly to descend into a full-blown race war. 

Following the stabbing murders of three white British girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance event by the 17-year-old son of Rwandan immigrants to Wales, rioters have burned down police cars, looted local shops, attacked several mosques, and caused thousands of pounds worth of property damage. 

The U.K.’s nascent Prime Minister, Keir Starmer of the Labour Party, has utterly failed de-escalate the situation. 

In a press conference, Starmer said, “Whatever the apparent motivation, this is not protest. It is pure violence and we will not tolerate attacks on mosques or our Muslim communities. The full force of the law will be visited on all those who are identified as having taken part in these activities.”

Taken in a vacuum, that statement would be perfectly innocuous or even laudable. But the U.K. has been playing with a two-tiered system of justice for years now. 

Infamously, a gang of Muslim migrants in Rotherham, England were able to get away with grooming, raping, and selling white, British girls for years while authorities stood by over fears of being called racist. 

From the Independent, “a report on child sexual exploitation in Rotherham found no evidence of children’s social care staff being influenced by the demographics of perpetrators, but said there was a ‘perceived message’ from council leaders to ‘downplay’ ethnicity.”

Indeed, the British government has been actively censoring news that might paint migrants in a bad light. 

U.K. outlet the Publica reported, “The UK government is no longer sharing the data of the tax contributions and welfare usage of migrants, a decision partially based on a report that such statistics could be used to spread ‘xenophobia.’” 

And Conservative MP Neil O’Brien noted on his Substack that the British government seems hellbent on preventing citizens from accessing data related to the ethnic and national origins of criminals out of fears of stoking anti-immigrant sentiment. 

The whole thing seems painfully misguided, evoking comedian Norm MacDonald’s tweet about thermonuclear bombs and peaceful Muslims. Apparently, Britons should be angrier at anti-migrant backlash than the migrants themselves. 

And it plays to the sentiment that the government is more concerned with sparing the feelings of Muslims in Britain than natives. There was no rush to protect innocent children from abhorrent sex fiends, but anti-migrant riots get the full force of law.

And while downplaying the ethnicity of vile rapists and child molesters to appear PC is bad enough, the left also seeks to muddy the ethnicity of the native British population from history. Advocates of this new vision of antiquity prefer to preach a multiethnic blob of racial ambiguity for Western history, falsely claiming that the earliest architects of European civilization were as diverse as modern London or Paris. 

Case in point, multiple British institutions have moved to nix the term Anglo-Saxon from their nomenclature over concerns it’s racist and exclusionary. 

And from Varsity, Cambridge’s oldest student newspaper, “just as women’s or African American studies courses inevitably attract students from corresponding backgrounds, so too will the study of Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic. However, while the former seeks to recover the institutionally suppressed voices of their respective communities, the latter perpetuates an image of early medieval studies as a field of racial and ethnic exclusivity.”

It’s an active attempt to kill any sense of national identity by rewriting the past to be far more xenophilic than reality. Although sometimes they want to play up ethnicity and fawn over how amazing migrants are based on an exotic fixation on brown people. 

The fetishization of foreign, mostly Muslim migrants, can be summed up in a surreal image that made its way around the internet earlier this year. A line of what appears to be exclusively male migrants is backdropped by the gloomy, gray British climate. Above them a wall mural reads in big bold letters “SEX WITH REFUGEES IS JASMINE-SCENTED AND BEAUTIFUL.”

That sense that migrants are some incredible boon that Europe should be grateful for is underlined by a rabid disgust of the West as a whole. 

A poster plastered around several London locales back in 2022 bore the text “We did not come to Britain, Britain came to us.”

The implication being Britain deserves its current migrant rush based on its imperial past, which besides being utterly insane is also wildly counterproductive to their expressed ends. 

I cannot think of a single way to increase negative sentiment against migrants than to tell white Britons such immigrants are a punishment for a sin none of them are guilty of. What native son would watch his country fracture along ethnic and religious lines to placate racial grievance politics? 

Not one would, which is why the migrant crisis has spawned some previously unthinkable imagery. In Belfast, marchers waving Union Jacks marched side by side with those carrying the Irish tricolor, highlighting how even mortal enemies see the wave of mass migration into Europe as an existential threat. 

Because they’re right. No country can survive the strain of two diametrically opposed cultures coexisting within its borders. Especially when one of those cultures appears determined to destroy the other, and the culture under fire is expected to lay down and die. 

Europe is at a crossroads. The violence in England is simply a taste of what’s to come if the tide of migrants is not curbed. The continent is on the brink, a powder keg about to blow. Let’s hope there’s still time to diffuse it.
